During the tour, you will see a variety of plants adapted to the conditions in volcanic and arid regions, such as the opuntia, and several species of shrubs that are home to the Darwin's finches and the bird warlock, a small bird in danger of extinction.

To reach the lookout's main volcano, you'll be able to admire the impressive crater, which is the second largest in the world. Then, we will continue towards the volcano Chico, located to the northwest of the Sierra Negra bordering the crater.

The road to the volcano Boy presents fields of lava recent, creating a lunar landscape with geological formations unique and varied coloured minerals in the lava. Here you will be able to observe active fumaroles that emit volcanic gases, showing the continuing geothermal activity in the region.

At the end of our tour, we will explore the impressive tunnels of lava from the volcano, which show the dynamics of volcanic processes. These formations are created when the surface is solidified, while the interior continues to flow. Then, we return to the station, The Cure for the move to Puerto Villamil.
